Senior Customer Support Manager
I have 16 years' experience in the education sector and for 11 years I was examinations manager for a large sixth form college, so I understand how challenging and overwhelming the exams officer role can be. I’m passionate about helping and supporting the EO community in any way I can.
My role as Senior Customer Support Manager means I’m responsible for the management of the field-based Customer Support Managers.
Supporting centres in Durham, East Riding of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire, Northumberland, South Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear and West Yorkshire.
I joined OCR in January 2022. I have worked within the education sector since 1997. Having previously worked for OCR, I consider myself fortunate to be joining the customer support team again. I have been employed as an exams manager in two secondary schools and more recently for a trust consisting of three large sixth form colleges in Yorkshire. I've always thrived on providing efficient customer support in every role and my passion lies with supporting exams officers and to raise their profiles generally.

I joined OCR in January 2018 as the Customer Support Manager for the North West and West Midlands. I have been working in the education sector since 1998 and have experience of exams administration through my role as Assessment Manager at a university and as an Exams Officer in a large high school. I know, first hand, how challenging the role can be so I'm passionate about assisting and supporting centres within my regions.

I joined OCR in 2001 and became an OCR Customer Support Manager in 2007 when the team was first formed. During that time I have supported centres across most of the UK. I understand how challenging and rewarding the Exams Officer role can be and I’m keen to hear from anyone in my region who may need support or guidance.

Having started my career in education back in 2005, I joined OCR in May 2010, working in the Operations Department. I became a Customer Support Manager in September 2014. I have worked as an exams officer since 2006, working in a large 11-16 state school, 14-18 college and, most recently, an independent school. I have vast experience of different types of qualifications, including A Levels, GCSEs and vocational qualifications. I understand the pressures and demands of the exams officer role and look forward to supporting you and creating new opportunities to support centres within the Greater London and Kent area. I’ve worked in education and exams administration for over 20 years. I’ve been an exams manager in a further education college and a large secondary school – so I know just how challenging and rewarding a role it can be. I started helping exams officers when I joined the Department for Education’s National Assessment Agency (NAA) in 2004 as a field-based Centre Support Officer. I joined OCR as a Customer Support Manager in 2007 and have enjoyed supporting our centres ever since!

I’ve been working within the education sector since 2006 and I joined OCR in 2013.
