In this ‘Enhance your teaching’ event for GCSE Economics (J205), our expert trainer will aim to explain what is required of students to meet the criteria for A03a (analyse) and AO3b (evaluate) and offer practical tips and guidance on how to train students to apply these, empowering you to deliver our GCSE Economics qualification with confidence.
What the course aims to do:
Provide guidance and information to support teachers to help students to meet the criteria for A03a (analyse) and AO3b (evaluate) levels of response questions
How the course will fulfil those aims:
- Provide guidance on question types and requirements
- Provide examples and marking practice for Levels based questions and answers to understand what a level 3 answer looks like
- Discuss teaching tips and strategies to develop and practise analysis and evaluation skills in Economics lessons
