Get classroom and assessment-ready with our Starting to Teach support events
Led by one of our internal experts, our ‘Starting to Teach’ event for A Level and AS Level Psychology (H567/H167) aims to develop your understanding of key aspects of the qualification. The session will cover specification content, structure, question format and assessment requirements, as well as offering practical guidance on getting started in the classroom. By attending our ‘Starting’ event, you will have opportunities to ask questions, network with others and learn about the other branches of support we offer, empowering you to teach OCR A Level and AS Level Psychology (H567/H167) with confidence.
What
the course aims to do:

To support new centres/ customers in understanding specification and assessment principles, as well as signposting them to relevant support branches
How
the course will fulfil those aims:

Narrate the ‘Assessment Story’ – high level
•
Guide delegates through the specification and assessment framework (in detail)
•
Share information on OCR support systems/ direct to generic on-demand ‘Getting Started’ course
•
Offer an overview of the support and third party resources on offer (and how to access them)
•
Provide a platform for discussing classroom application activities
