Description
Our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course for Cambridge Technicals Level 3 Engineering (05822–05825, 05873) focuses more on practice and application: providing you with opportunities to work through past series’ materials, including candidate exemplars. Lead by Principal/Lead Moderators, our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course is designed to support you in understanding how and why a range of exemplars secured the marks they did, empowering you to apply this knowledge to your own teaching and delivery.
What
the course aims to do:

Offer a detailed exploration of past candidate work to help inform and shape teaching, marking and moderation practice for future NEA series. The course will focus on the following four units 9, 10, 11 and 22.

Receive an in-depth understanding of the assessment expectations, marking criteria and outcomes from past NEA series.

Practice marking real candidate work and receive guidance on how and why candidates secured a range of marks

Explore ideas to enhance teaching and learning for future NEA preparation and delivery
