Cambridge Advanced Nationals, our new Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualifications, have been approved for funding for first teach from September 2025
All our Level 3 180 GLH (AS Level size) and 360 GLH (A Level size) Cambridge Advanced Nationals submitted in Cycle 1 are approved for funding and can be taken as a part of a post-16 programme of study
The Department for Education (DfE) is currently undertaking a review of post-16 Level 3 and below qualifications, due to conclude by the end of the year. We'll keep you updated on the progress of the review and once outcomes are published how they’ll affect you and your students.
Our Post-16 reform hubpage explains more about what reform could mean for you and your post-16 curriculum.
