Summer ‘EXPO’ training events offer support for GQ Reform
02 April 2015
OCR is offering free half-day ‘EXPOs’ in June and July to help bring teachers up to speed with the reforms and developments in GCSE and A Level subjects for delivery from September 2016.
The events have been designed to give teachers practical information about the key changes and benefits of the new OCR specifications, as well as an understanding of thematic changes that impact upon a range of qualifications.
The EXPO events will feature two 25-minute presentations on Explaining the Changes and Resources and Support. Those attending are welcome to attend both, or just one of these sessions. OCR’s Subject Specialists will also be on hand to answer specific queries about the new GCSE and A Level draft specifications.
Over 1600 teachers attended our EXPOs last summer and due to popular demand we have expanded the number of events for this summer. OCR’s EXPOs are taking place in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle upon Tyne, Leicester and Exeter, between 10 June and 3 July.
