OCR news and views in the summer 2015 edition of Agenda magazine
25 August 2015
The summer 2015 edition of OCR Agenda magazine is now available online.
In this issue, you can find out all about support for teaching new qualifications from September 2015, as well as OCR’s draft qualifications for 2016 – including our cyber spook Computer Science GCSE. You can also read an interview with Tom Sherrington, Head Teacher of Highbury Grove School in North London, who is an active education blogger and tweeter and a leading light behind the National Baccalaureate Trust. OCR was in the news when OCR CEO Mark Dawe kicked off the ‘to Google or not to Google’ debate, and in this issue you can read all about why, for him, the use of internet search engines in exams is a “no brainer”.
All this, plus school projects to encourage young engineers, an online course to tackle poor English and maths skills using dramatic storylines, our continued support for offender learning and a new Cambridge National in Child Development.
