We are committed to delivering Cambridge Technicals results for all those expecting them on 17 August. 

This is our top priority: ensuring all eligible students receive the results they need and on time. 

We are in contact with all of our schools and colleges. The vast majority have worked well to meet all checkpoints and milestones, enabling students to receive the qualifications for which they have worked so hard. Thank you for working with us.

A very small number of schools and colleges have yet to provide all the necessary information for their students to receive results this summer. In some instances, we have warned schools and colleges of a risk of an investigation for maladministration if they do not provide appropriate responses promptly. Sanctions for maladministration can be severe.

One month ahead of results day, we have time to resolve those cases. OCR is making every appropriate resource available to facilitate this.

Students and parents can be reassured that these issues are fixable, schools and colleges have the information needed, and we are ready to help them to enable students who are eligible to get their results on time.

The very small number of schools and colleges that have not responded appropriately risk disruption to summer breaks, maladministration investigations and, worst of all, delays to their students’ results. We will continue to work hard in collaboration with schools and colleges to avoid these scenarios.

We have all the tools and resources in place to avoid any disruption this year, and we remain confident that we can achieve this.
