Content options for new history GCSEs in 2016 09 January 2015

A lot of the History team's recent discussions with centres and teachers have focused on the new History GCSEs for first teaching in September 2016.

Talking to teachers it became apparent that those centres offering a 3 year KS4 are holding option events with their year 8s in January and February 2015. In light of this, please find below the content options that we plan to offer across our two new GCSEs as well as a timeline of key dates and developments for the new GCSEs.

Please note this information is draft until accreditation.

If you have any queries, please contact us at history@ocr.org.uk.
