Back to school with OCR
07 September 2016
For everyone going back to school, best wishes for the term ahead.
OCR is looking forward to supporting everyone to get off to a flying start, particularly those with new courses and qualifications to teach. We have a total of 37 new GCSEs and AS/A Levels for first teaching this September including a choice in our Science suites and in History and Geography at GCSE, as well as new GCSEs and AS/A Levels in subjects ranging from Physical Education to Religious Studies. Take a look at our full list of new 2016 general qualifications here. We’ve also redeveloped Entry Level qualifications in nine areas, which provide a useful stepping stone towards GCSE.
Our updated Level 3 2016 Cambridge Technical vocational range also rolls out this September. This new range, which we’ve developed with guidance from key sector experts, offers a solid basis for progression into higher education, work or into apprenticeships.
To support all our new GCSE, AS/A Level and Cambridge Technical qualifications, we have a programme of training events (both face to face and online) throughout this term. Whether you are looking for training events, or for free resources such as online delivery guides, our CPD Hub offers the information you need in one place. You can get in touch with our subject specialists by emailing them at subject@ocr.org.uk (for example maths@ocr.org.uk or science@ocr.org.uk).
