Filming guidance for the AS and A Level Physical Education EAPI tasks
05 December 2022
For our AS and A Level Physical Education qualifications (H155/H555), we've clarified our guidance on the filming requirements for the non-exam assessment (NEA).
If you aren't doing so already, you must arrange for the filming of all candidates as they complete their EAPI tasks. This is to make sure the EAPI tasks are sampled in line with our standard arrangements and meet our regulatory requirements.
You can read more in our updated guidance on filming for AS and A Level, which you can also view and download from the Assessment section of the AS and A Level qualification page.
We’ve also amended the AS and A Level Guide to NEA to reflect the filming clarification for the EAPI tasks – see pages 23 and 24.
Remember, before marks for the EAPI tasks are submitted to us, you must inform candidates of their marks and allow time for them to request an appeal. You can read more in section 6.1 of the Instructions for conducting NEA on the JCQ website.
Once you have submitted your filmed evidence, we'll request a sample of these for moderation. The number of the sample requests will depend on the size of your cohort. Further moderation guidance is available on our website.
