Withdrawal of Level 1/2 Certificate in Living Texts
OCR’s Level 1/2 Certificate in Living Texts J945 (600/2206/1) is being withdrawn from 31 August 2017. We have taken the difficult decision to withdraw this qualification following government reform which means it will not be included in performance tables from 2016 onwards.
We will continue to support and assess the qualification up to the conclusion of the final assessment series, as follows:

Centres may be pleased to know that Living Texts will be converted into a transition scheme of work to support the GCSE(9-1)English Language (J351) and GCSE(9-1)English Literature (J352) qualifications. This will be available from summer 2017. To find out more, email OCR.LivingTexts@ocr.org.uk
