GCSE, AS and A Level Geography fieldwork written statements

This update has been superseded by our subject update published on 25 March 2025. Geography fieldwork written statements must be submitted to us – these can no longer be only retained in centre.
GCSE, AS and A Level Geography
Please note that completed fieldwork written statements should be retained within centres.
The statements need to be completed by 15 May 2019 and there is no need to send them to us.
Fieldwork written statements apply to GCSE Geography 9-1 (J383 and J384), AS Level Geography (H081) and A Level Geography (H481).
The statements are available to download from the 'Administration' section of the qualification pages linked below and can also be accessed via our forms finder.
A Level non-examination assessment (NEA) forms
For the purpose of marking and moderation please make sure the following three documents are included with each candidate’s work:
- A Level independent investigation proposal form – this must be signed by the teacher
- A Level mark recording sheet
- A Level candidate record form and centre declaration – signed by the candidate and teacher.
These documents are all required for the external moderation process and can be downloaded from the qualification page.
