End-of-item tests for Entry Level Science R483
05 September 2024
This update was originally published on 15 June 2022. On 24 June 2022, we told you that following feedback from centres, we had decided to give you more time to change over to the current end-of-items tests.
We'd like to remind you, for the June 2025 series onwards, you must now make sure you're using the latest tests. These are available to download from Teach Cambridge, see below for more details.
Entry Level Science R483 is assessed using a combination of short end-of-item tests, can-do tasks and a practical task.
In recent series, we know there have been multiple versions of end-of-item tests used for assessment. For the June 2025 series onwards, we’ll only be accepting submitted marks from the latest assessments. Therefore, please make sure that for the June 2025 series onwards you use only versions 3 and 4 of the end-of-topic tests.
You can download the latest versions of the Entry Level Science live end-of-topic tests from the Assessment > Exams > Controlled materials area on Teach Cambridge. Please note, the tests are no longer available via Interchange.
We no longer accept tests from the previous Entry Level Certificate specification R591 – please destroy any unused copies.
Remember, the deadline for submitting marks in the June 2025 series is 15 May 2025.
