Amendments to Entry Level Geography (R407)
We have amended the specification and Test 1 for the new Entry Level Geography Specification (R407). These amended documents should be used for all future assessment series. Please ensure that any previous versions that have been downloaded are replaced with the amended versions for use by learners and teachers. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Specification
We have corrected the marks within each of the levels for the AO3 section of the Fieldwork Notebook marking grid (page 16). These should now read:
- Level 1 – 1–5
- Level 2 – 6–10
- Level 3 – 11–15
The updated specification can be downloaded from the qualification page.
Dynamic World Test 1
- Question paper (page 5) – Question 4(c) has been updated to correctly number the three answer lines.
- Mark scheme (page 6) – The assessment objective reference in the ‘Marks’ column for question 6(c) has been corrected to AO1.
The updated question paper and mark scheme can be downloaded from Interchange. Log in, hover over 'Coursework and tests' and click on 'Entry level tasks' in the left-hand menu.
Candidate/learner cover sheets will also be available to download from the qualification page shortly and these should be used to record learners' marks for each of the internal assessment tasks.
