CLAiT Plus unit 7/ITQ unit 81 - Interactive form responses

An issue has been identified with the Level 2 Unit 7 CLAiT assignments for CLAiT International and ITQ unit 81.

Learners usually receive a response from http://www.progress-webmail.co.uk/cgi-bin/webmail.cgi confirming their interactive form is working correctly. This is currently not functioning and a correctly set up form will receive a server error.

For any learners using the unit 7 assignments for CLAiT International or ITQ, when marking, do not penalise the learners for a non-response if the syntax is correct.

A correct form will display a ‘404 server error’ and if the address bar displays ‘http://www.progress-webmail.co.uk/cgi-bin/webmail.cgi’, do not penalise as a critical error for objective 3d. The form should still meet all the other criteria for the task and the test of the form should still take place to fulfil the criteria for 3d. After testing the form the learner must still amend the recipient as specified in the assignment (as failing to do this will still result in a critical error).
