Amendment to Cambridge Technicals in IT (2016 suite) pre-release material

We have amended Unit 3 (cyber security) of the pre-release material for Cambridge Technicals in IT, level 3 (05838-05842, 05877) (2016 suite). 

The unit now contains a series of research prompts which candidates need to respond to before each external assessment. This amendment has been made to ensure candidates are preparing for external assessment in Unit 3 in the same way as Unit 2 (global information). The research prompts will enable candidates to become familiar with issues/themes in the pre-release material which relate to specific content, as well as making candidates aware of wider issues that need to be taken into consideration.

The amendments to the pre-release material are also reflected in the sample assessment material, and in the centre handbooks, which are all available via the qualification page of the OCR website
