Amendments to specifications for Cambridge Nationals qualifications

To reflect the feedback we've received since launching our new Cambridge Nationals qualifications, we've made amendments to the following specifications:
To support teachers and students, we've added the following information to the specifications:
- details on the availability of the qualifications
- the lifespan of the non examined assessment (NEA) assignments and reminders to make sure students are entered for each series in which you intend to submit the NEA
- details of the OCR Essentials for Internal Assessment training
- information relating to the JCQ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use in Assessments: Protecting the Integrity of Qualifications guidance.
In addition, in the Health and Social Care specification, we've provided specific assessment guidance for Unit R033 Task 2b, and for Enterprise and Marketing (section 6.3), we've updated the examples of what ‘over-direction’ might look like.
Please refer to page 2 of each specification for further details on what we've changed or amended.
The content of the units has not changed.
You can view and download the amended specifications from the Cambridge Nationals qualification pages on our website, and from Teach Cambridge.
The specifications are shown as version 3 (August 2023), except for Engineering Design J822, IT J836 and Sport Science J828 which are version 4 (August 2023).
