Anthology update from first teach September 2024

The anthology of non-fiction and spoken texts for AS and A Level English Language and Literature H074/H474 is refreshed every three years. The current version of the anthology (version 3) has final assessment in June 2024 for AS Level and final assessment in June 2025 for A Level.
We want to let you know we're updating the anthology content in readiness for first teach from September 2024. The refreshed version will be ‘version 4’, and will be available to order in summer 2024 from our website.
The first assessment for version 4 of the anthology will be June 2025 for AS Level, followed by June 2026 for A Level.
We've outlined below which anthology each cohort should be studying and the version of the anthology on which they will be assessed:

From September 2025, all AS and A Level cohorts will be studying and assessed on version 4 of the anthology only.
We will provide more information and support on the progress of the refreshed anthology during the 2023/34 academic year.
