Changes to the practical endorsement monitoring process for A Level Sciences

The allocation cross board monitoring of the Practical Endorsement for biology, chemistry and physics is changing. There is no requirement for centres to take any action, but there are key points centres should be aware of.

• Registration with the JCQ is not required - we will be using entry data from the June 2017 series to identify the subject we'll be monitoring for OCR centres
  
• First contact will be with Exams Officers, or other nominated school contact
• Because of these two changes, there is no requirement for centres to make any additional notification or submission of details for the 2017 to 2019 monitoring cycle
• Lead teachers new to any centre are required to undertake the lead teacher training
