The Department for Education is consulting on new standards for Personal, Social and Employability qualifications (PSEQs) as part of post-16 reforms.

This consultation presents draft standards and proposals for creating new qualifications based on the standards at Entry Level 1-3 and at Level 1.

These qualifications serve a range of post-16 students, both young people and adults, including those with special educational needs and those from income-deprived backgrounds.

The consultation seeks views about the suitability of the standards to support students to gain sustainable employment, progress in education or develop independent living skills.

The deadline for responses to the consultation is Monday 20 May.
