The Social Mobility Committee of the House of Lords, chaired by Baroness Corston, is conducting an inquiry into the transition from school to work for 14-24 year olds. The inquiry, which will be reporting in March 2016, will look at the school to work route with a particular focus on all those young people who do not undertake A Levels or Higher Education, but do go on to some sort of training, education or employment.
