Myles became Managing Director of Cambridge OCR in September 2025, bringing over 25 years' experience in education to the role. As Managing Director Myles is driving Cambridge OCR’s mission to make assessment straightforward, so that each student has the chance to show their true ability. Myles has taken on the role at a crucial time for education in England, with reforms planned to curriculum and assessment. Myles was closely involved in Cambridge OCR’s work to successfully inform the government’s plans to improve education, and is now helping the organisation work with government, regulator, and experts to ensure these reforms reflect the needs of students and teachers.

Joining in August 2019, Myles led Cambridge OCR's regulatory compliance, quality management and governance. He was also Responsible Officer, working closely with regulators and ensuring the awarding organisation delivered fair and consistent assessments.

Myles' experience in leading teams in the education services sector has often focused on developing products that help learners and teachers realise their potential. These have spanned academic and vocational qualifications, digital qualifications services, published resources and professional development. Before joining Cambridge OCR, Myles was at education company Pearson, ultimately as Product Director for vocational qualifications. He began his career as an English language teacher before moving into educational publishing.

Ruth is responsible for the standard and quality of all Cambridge OCR’s assessments, from assessment creation through to marking and post-results. This includes oversight of research and technical services to support and continuously improve assessment quality and of the recruitment, training and support of assessment specialists.

Ruth joined in October 2024. She previously worked at AQA for 14 years, beginning in the English qualifications team and subsequently holding roles including Head of Research and Director of Assessment.

Prior to that, Ruth spent 14 years working in schools in Manchester as an English teacher and senior leader. She has an English degree from the University of Cambridge and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Manchester, focusing on equity in assessment.

Tim leads the marketing and insights teams and is responsible for helping the business understand teachers, educators, and key education decision-makers, and for promoting and marketing our products.

Tim joined in January 2025, bringing a wealth of diverse marketing experience to the role. Tim’s previous role was VP, Marketing and Insights for BBC Studios, the international commercial arm of the BBC. Before that, he worked at Trinity Mirror (now REACH PLC) in various marketing roles culminating in becoming Head of Marketing for national titles, leading the marketing for the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People.

Stuart joined as Operations Director for UK & International Education in February 2024. 

Stuart joined from awarding body AQA, where he was Director of Operations, and has vast experience of running both assessment and broader operations, as well as in digital transformation and systems and process modernisation work.

He worked for International Airlines Group, based at Heathrow and led the Operations Performance and Strategy teams for the global air cargo business. A key part of that role was resource planning for 2,000 staff delivering global operations 24/7/365. He also led major change programmes, including the response to COVID-19.

Before that, he worked for 11 years at RM, the Education Tech provider and a supplier to Cambridge.

Peter joined Cambridge OCR as Director of Product in April 2017 with responsibility for the development and management of Cambridge OCR’s products and their commercial performance.

He previously worked for Pearson Education in Head of Product Management roles for both vocational and academic qualifications. Before joining Pearson in 2008, Peter worked at Cambridge University Press, initially as a Science Editor and then progressing to become Publishing Manager for Science and Maths titles. Peter has a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry and a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry from Newcastle University.

Rebekah joined Cambridge OCR in October 2025 as Regulation and Business Performance Director. She is also Cambridge OCR's Responsible Officer, working with Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA, ensuring our awarding organisation is delivering fair and consistent assessments and adheres to regulations. She brings a depth of understanding of working in and with government.

Rebekah brings 20 years' experience within the Civil Service with a strong focus on qualifications and assessment throughout her career. Most recently, she worked for the Department for Education as the Director responsible for post-16 Technical Qualifications and Essential Skills policy. Before then, she led the government’s policy response to the pandemic for general qualifications (2021-2023). Her earlier career included operational and technical roles on primary assessments and analytical roles on national attainment statistics and school performance tables.

Stuart is responsible for the sales team, customer support team and Cambridge OCR’s subject advisers, who work closely with teachers providing support on individual subjects and qualifications.

Stuart joined in January 2025 and has worked in education sales for 18 years, starting in the UK education market before moving into international education. He joins from Oxford University Press (OUP), where he spent six years as International Sales Director, leading a global team of 70 across sales and customer success. He also led the creation of a combined qualification, curriculum and support team at OUP.

Stuart has a BA in Business Management and Economics.
