Following feedback from teachers, we have updated our specification and sample assessment material for Cambridge Advanced National in Health and Social Care (H025/H125). See below for details.

Updated specification

The amendments include the following:

• updated assessment guidance to reflect changes to the sample assessment materials for Units F092, F093, F094, F095 and F097
• confirmation the unit recording sheets (URS) and set assignment feedback forms are now only available on Teach Cambridge
• clarification that, on candidate results day, we publish the raw mark to UMS converter on our website for the relevant series
• updated guidance on:
  • plagiarism, including the use of AI
  • teaching requirements for referencing or acknowledging material copied from the internet or other sources
  • teacher authentication for non-examined assessment (NEA).

We have listed all the amendments and corresponding section numbers at the front of the updated specification.

You can view and download the updated specification (version 6) from the Health and Social Care qualification page on our website and Teach Cambridge.

Please make sure you use the new version of the specification with your students from 1 June 2026.

Amended sample assessment material

To improve clarity, we've also amended the following sample assessment materials:

• Unit F092: scenario, Task 2 and specific assessment guidance
• Units F093, F094, F095 and F097: specific assessment guidance only

Please review the updated assessment guidance and task instructions when using the 2027 Cambridge OCR-set assignment, available from 1 June 2026 on Teach Cambridge.
